Justine was born and raised in Pinawa, Manitoba and spent much of her childhood at Pioneer Bay Campground. She has fond memories swimming all summer and huddling around fires in winter. After she graduated High School, Justine moved to Winnipeg to attend University. She studied Literature, then Environmental Science, then eventually completed a Masters in Natural Resources Management. She was able to travel and live overseas and discovered a love for unique stays and experiences. Her favourite stays were always the cozy, unexpected and unassuming spaces hidden in nooks and crannies.
Now, Justine spends time between Pinawa and Winnipeg. In Winnipeg, you can find her grabbing coffee at her favourite local coffee shops, walking/skating/skiing the river trail, or indulging at one of the many great Winnipeg restaurants. In Pinawa, you can find her sipping coffee by the water, walking on the Ironwood Trail, spending time with family, or biking to the Pinawa Golf Club for Sunday breakfast.
Hidden Haven Tiny Cabins is inspired by these experiences. From an appreciation for unique stays and a love of Pinawa, Hidden Haven Tiny Cabins hopes to bring you a space where you can experience the simplicity of nature in your own hidden haven.
